Hi there,
My father, Ronald Odmark, was an oboist for the DSO for 35 years. He was the studio oboist on many of the recording 65- 70 era. They would typically record the background after concerts, (Thursday or Saturday) at the studio. My dad would write down the names of some of the title and bring them home.
He can be heard on "Bernadette", "My Whole World Ended", "The Happening" and many others.
He can also be heard on the Four Tops, Christmas recording of "Silent Night"
The infamous bassoonist on "Tears of Clown" was Charles Sirard who was my dad's roommate when they toured and a good friend of the family.
..... Kurt Odmark
